This blog only mentions the standardized test I took to study abroad, as an international student. I am not including my country's standardized tests such as the BJAT, PSE, ATLIB, or CXC. I've taken many tests in my life. Some elementary standardized tests, High School tests, and even College tests. My favorite subject has always being Mathematics. Later in 2017, I took the ACT test with only 2 weeks of preparation. I was in my last year of high school back then. I didn't do great in my first trial. My highest subject was science and not Math. Should the Accuplacer test replace an International student's grade from taking the SAT/ACT or Praxis Core?
STANDARDIZED TESTS As International students, we are required to take a standardized test to know where we stand academically. I think standardized tests are good for students even though the idea of depending on a test can be really stressful sometimes. I suggest that the Accuplacer grade should replace an ACT, SAT, or Praxis Core for international students. Overall we have passed the test and we should also consider that taking such tests requires a fee, which many of us, students, have regulations regarding our student Visa (a certain amount of hours worked per month) and should know wisely how to do budgets when it comes to money.
